The International Council met for their annual meeting in New York City, Nov. 24-27, 2018, during the Greater New York Dental Meeting. Events included an Induction Ceremony for Section XX, cultural dinner and music, Executive, Council and committee meetings, and many pre-Centennial activities and announcements.

ICD has joined the Washington University Dental Alumni Association (WUDAA) in offering annual scholarships to dental students. The program has been designated an ICD Centennial signature event in recognition of the $127,000 from WUD that will raise awareness about the high cost of dental education and student debt.
