Pope Francis hosted a delegation of the International College of Dentists. Representatives of the College Centennial Committee presented the pope with a unique commemorative book [now housed in the Vatican library], introducing the Core Values of the College and featuring an on-going humanitarian program in Angola.

ICD has joined the Washington University Dental Alumni Association (WUDAA) in offering annual scholarships to dental students. The program has been designated an ICD Centennial signature event in recognition of the  $127,000 from WUD that will raise awareness about the high cost of dental education and student debt.
